Hello Fellow Birders:Once again our good fortune continues as Mr. P has been
out and about today. He continues to feed on the wild rose in the backyard
adjacent to #20 Ascot. Sue who lives there still continues her generosity by
inviting birders into her backyard. My other neighbour, Shirley at #8 Aberdeen
is also being very gracious by allowing all into her backyard where the viewing
is excellent. To access the latter backyard, proceed along the driveway and
then along the side of their closed-in patio, the large gate is propped open.
(Please do not use the gate at the front of the closed in patio.) Thank you.
Mr. P has been very actively feeding on the rose hips and barberry berries.
This morning it was very sunny and he was flying about and sunning himself atop
a number of tall bare trees on Aberdeen Cr. A mockingbird is somewhat
intrigued/enchanted with Mr. P. and follows him everywhere. So, keep an eye out
for the mockingbird also, as it may lead you to Mr. P.
For those travelling from afar, our weather has turned quite cloudy but we are
having intermittent sunny breaks with just the slightest of breezes.
Take care and good luck.
