The Chuck-will's-widow started singing at 9:13 p.m. and stopped at 9:19.
Started again at 9:27. At 9:33 two Whip-poor-wills joined in. I left at 9:36
as the mosquitoes were very bad. A bug jacket is recommended. With the waxing
moon it could sing more often. It starts singing from the same spot south of
Doyle road about 350 metres west of the bend in the road, near the hydro lines
and then moves closer to the bend.
I would appreciate an email with any observations you might make.
Dan Bone
