This morning from 7 - 8 am there were 3 species of heron at the end of Birch
St. in Collingwood. There were 2 Green Herons feeding on the outflow pipe, a
juvenile Black-crowned Night hunting along the shore and a Great Blue Heron
flew in as well. The end of Birch Street is where the warer treatment plant
releases treated water.
