Weather:
Crisp and clear, a thin film of high cirrus stayed with us from start to
finish, muffling the blue sky above. Temperatures remained cool, mostly in
the mid 40s. And strong wind blustered in off the lake from the southeast
throughout.

Raptor Observations:
It was a fun morning flight with a good number of Cooper's and Red-tailed
hawks shooting past early, enlivening the first two hours. Around midday,
we were visited by a couple notable birds, first our third Northern Goshawk
of the season and then a little later another light morph Rough-legged
Hawk. By the afternoon, activity had come to a screeching halt.

Non-raptor Observations:
Great Black-backed Gull (1), Common Loon (2), American Crow (800+)

Predictions:
Overcast with highs in the mid 40s, moderate south wind a 70 percent chance
of rain.
