A flock of 22 Whimbrel and 3 Red Knots were just seen flying around Wheatley Harbour. It looked like they may settle in on the rock break wall, but they circling it a couple times and then flew east heading towards Wheatley Provincial Park.
The Wheatley Harbour is located at the south end of Kent County Road 1. For those interested in the American White Pelicans they are back out in the open marsh and easily seen from the Lebo Creek bridge on the north side of the marsh.
