No, not a rarity post... However, I'm currently witnessing a fantastic movement of Bobolinks over the marsh and my canoe at SCNWA, on the East shore of Lake St Clair. There is a constant sound of flight calls for all the ones I can't see, so just a heads up to those interested in this migration note. It's just been 1 hour of observing.
I found it pretty cool this spring when I reported 15 Pelicans from here (flying South) and then heard that 14 were observed along the Detroit River several hours later.
