A fantastic day for birds here in Rondeau!

Large numbers of warblers and many other songbirds moved last night resulting
in a busy morning. 27 Species of Warblers reported this morning throughout the
park as well as 6 species of Vireos.

The Maintenance Loop, Marsh Trail, and Spice Bush are busy with birds with 20
Warbler species between them. Harrison and Bennet Rd are the hot spots this
morning with nearly 80 species present on the trails.

Birds are staying high in the mature trees as well as low and close to the
water pools and slews.

Canada Warblers were seen on both Bennett Rd as well as South Point this
morning. Blue-winged Warblers were found on both Harrison as well as the
Maintenance Loop. Blackpoll Warblers and Prothonotary Warblers are showing well
on Bennet Rd as well.

It is also worth reporting that large amounts of Bay-breasted Warblers ,
Red-eyed Vireos, Yellow-rumpled Warblers, and Cape May Warblers are moving
through the park.

The Campsite will remain closed until further notice due to flooding. Rain
