The Cattle Egret was still present mid-morning and early afternoon with a
small herd of cattle on the west side of Huff Road. It would vanish for
short periods when it walked behind the cows (which were lying down) but
would eventually reappear between or in front of them. The cattle were very
obliging in letting the egret pluck flies from their body including from
their faces near their eyes.

Huff Road is just west of Brighton; the cattle were across the road from
house #315.
