Greetings Ontbirders Presqu’ile Report for the week of July 5th to 11th 2019 Due to a lack of reports this will be a very short report! A NORTHERN SHOVELER was spotted flying down the beach on July 9th. VIRGINIA RAILS were heard calling July 10th from the Constructed Wetland as were numerous COMMON GALLINULES. The only shorebirds reported this week were SPOTTED SANDPIPERS AND KILLDEER Directions: Presqu’ile Provincial Park is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario, just south of the town of Brighton. It can be reached from either Hwy. 401, or Cty. Rd. 2 and is well signed. A Park map can be found in the information tabloid available at the Park gate.
