I can dig it. Grip is pretty damn cool. So is gcombust, if you're interested in burning new cdr(w)'s as opposed to ripping already existing cds. But if you're a terminally terminal non-gui fiend, then mkisofs and cdrecord are extremely easy to use from the command line (the man page for cdrecord is especially useful, with lots of helpful examples near the end).
