I haven't read any of his published work, only what he's written online. It sounds like his technical writing is good enough, but just as a guy, not someone I'd want to sit around listening to. :Speaking of dudes with big opinions of themselves, the guy that bugs me :the most is Phil Greenspun. A couple of the things he's got up on his :site are really useful resources for how to do stuff, but you have to wade :through all the 'and this once again proves how great i am' crap first. Greenspun has a ton of good stuff on his sites, put together in a pretty smart way, with some tools that were pretty amazing when he published them. But yeah, it's too bad about the "I'm the second coming thing", though. :Or accessed a perl object a Java class? Java sucks.
