Hello all,

I would like to know if there is a way to switch
workspaces from a remote application or command line.

I have a dual headed device (two displays) which each
currently run sawfish. Under sawfish (I have two
instances os sf running, one on each display) I can
switch workspaces from a java app like this:

for first display..

"sawfish-client --display 0 -f '(select-workspace
(3))'"

For the second display..

"sawfish-client --display 1 -f '(select-workspace
(0))'"

I would like very much to know if this can be done
with blackbox wm. I looked at bblaunch but it does
not have a display option for switching between
multiple heads.

Can you have multiple instances of blackbox running?

Thanks in advance

rodger
