I see u'r point. u can however change the amount of space the taskbar
takes up on the screen. for instance, i have mine set to the bottom
left and it only takes up 28% of the screen width. making it very
small, but still avalible. not to mention, in order to use the tabbed
windows in a taskbar u would end up using the mouse, so for that matter,
u could just use the right and left arrows on the right side of taskbar
to switch between windows. or if u really want to get away from using
the mouse, there is allways the ever popular and usefull bbkeys. w/
that u can setup the windows alt+tab to flip through the current
windows. then u dont have to use the mouse at all.
thats the beauty of the linux environment and community. there are options.
