gah, xml.  The only thing that makes XML easier is the fact that there are 
libraries that do it for you.  As vanR points out, we will be providing said 
library.

Now, if someone out there wants to make a script which takes blackbox configs 
and converts them to XML, more power to you.  Couple that with a similar XML 
to blackbox format and you have the best of both worlds.

Adding XML *WILL* add a dependency somewhere, and right now we work with just 
X and C++ libs.  But that is not a great reason.  The only place I see this 
being of any benefit is the menu format (which vanR and others are using as a 
config format).  Now, perhaps we need to re-evaluate that format.  
The .blackboxrc format is really, really simple for us to use.  The Xlibs 
handle it for us.  No muss, no fuss.
