Well, I also would VERY MUCH like to get this phenomenon straightened out.
I have (only) 32MB of memory. Using for example IceWM or bb 5.x I get 10 -- max
15MB of X-Win memory usage. But switching to bb 6.0 increases that to like 17+MB
from the start. After some uptime it gets ugly: swapping up to 30-40MB and
still some X hogging :(
Normally i dont get up to 20MB on the swap side....
Too bad! Those "small" thingies in alpha were very .... hmmmm helpful
comparing to 5.x
Still i had to go back to it because of substantial performance degradation
PLZ anyone outthere !!! for the love of blackbox :)
Perhaps some pointers as to how to trace it... i'm new to the linux
environment and my programming skills are .... hmmm bookish to say the least.
sorry for goofy misspellings ;-)
