Xterm Question

I installed blackbox in my Linux RH 6.1 and seems to work fine,

The problem is when I open a xterm. I cant see the text.

It looks like its highlighted with a solid color, every thing I type,

is just a color box and I cant see what is behind it. When I pass

another window over it I can see the text temporarily. I am suspecting a

refresh issue. I have had similar problems with GNOME but was able to

change the Font to something that didn't give any problems (Well only flickering)

Can you guide me to some resources I can follow up to solve this issue.

I would like to get BlackBox to work as I like its speed.
