I will give it a try.
I have had no luck with: (one my menu file or .xinitrc)
aterm -tr -sh 40 -sr -fg white -bg red -cr green -font 6x13 -geometry 80x23
[exec] (xterm) {xterm -ls -fg white --bg black}
By the way I include a image of how my xterm looks like,
although this is a telnet window it portrays the idea. As you can see
everything is highlighted
and all text I Type in is display the same way, highlighted.
