Why no shortcut handling?

What's the reason for removing basic shortcut support in blackbox 0.6x? It worked not 
that bad in 0.5x. Now I have to install this bbkeys tool which needs as much memory 
space as blackbox itself. I think this is an extremly annoying issue and contradicts 
the simplistic appearance of blackbox. It would certainly a nice thing to use bbtools 
for configuring shortcuts but the shortcut handling should be done by the wm.
