Hi
Thanks to all who responded. However I now note the "bsetbg" is
simply a wrapper (not so simply) into bsetroot and other apps. It is
this tool which my question is really about.
I want to set the root bg by something like:
bsetroot -gradient flatverticalgradient \
-from rgb:bb/a1/6d -to lightyellow
However I want this in so that aterm/Eterm transparent windows keep
their transparency and update asccording to the current root
background. So far I cant see that this is possible. The workaround
is to create a gif from my background, but this is a bit of a hack.
