Maybe I should explain more. I have been torn between distros there are so
many to choose from
and all seem to have good and bad points. Debian for example has in my
opinion the best package
management out of all the linux distros I have tried which include Mandrake,
TurboLinux, SuSe, Redhat and a few others. I just can't seem to settle on
just one and stick with it (one good thing from this is that I am really
good at the installation process). I have during this time come to the
realization that I prefer to compile most of my programs and that learning
c/c++ would be a great
help in debugging the programs that I run. I am leaning more towards the
Debian distro if for nothing else than the stable installation of the
programs that I will need to learn c/c++ and program debugging.
oh and vi rocks !
