Personally, I use the following script to star Blackbox with the various KDE2
services:

Copy this file to a location in your PATH environment and then create an
.xinitrc file in your home directory with the following line:
startkbb
If you want support for KDE2's dockable applets and session management, use
the Blackbox patches located at this site as well.
