I like the gui, just not the one that's being developed. :-) In the
past, I've always used the bbkeysConfigGtk program since I don't care to
install Qt nor KDE. (Thanks vanRijn, for not removing the GTK version
from your site.)
The other day, I blew away my Mdk install and put on a very basic debian
potato install; then dist-upgraded to woody, with neither GTK nor QT
installed. That's when I tried to install bbkeys and found the
dependency issue.
In my dream world, I would have 4 different packages relevant to bbkeys:
bbkeys, bbkeysconf, bbkeysconf-qt, and bbkeysconf-gtk. Then if the GTK
frontend became active again, you would avoid naming conflicts; plus,
that would leave room for others who want to hack out a bbkeysconf-tk
frontend or whatever. But, this is in my dream world... hmm...sounds
like we need a libbbkeys. ;-)
