I presume you're running X 3.3.6. What do the FontPaths in your
XF86Config look like?
I'm picking that the 100dpi fonts are appearing ahead/above the 75 dpi
listings. You need to reverse these.
Mine looked something like:
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/freefont/"
FontPath "unix/:7101"
I hope that made sense.
Cheers
Matt
