I've got this problem and tried the same solution. Unfortunately, this doesn't
fix the problem of the large fonts in Netscape every other X program. It must
be a problem with X's configuration, not Netscape/blackbox/etc.
I got this problem as soon as I upgraded to the XF86 4.0.2 packages in debian
(4.0.1 didn't do this at all).
I'm assuming there's some master X11 font config option somewhere that I'm not
aware of that's causing us this problem.
