EXACTLY! after all, what counts is being able to *use* a certain set
of functionalities with the smallest amount of personal effort. If
we get to this point by:

1) compiling everything together, or simply by

2) prepackaging N **separate** things in one rpm/deb/whatever which
   has been tested once to work on a given distribution, what is the
   difference?

I mean, would anybody at this point really perceive the performance
difference among the two different ways to obtain the *same* frilled
up BB environment? I really don't think so, and the really minimalist guys would still 
have the super minimalist thing we all love.

Let's hope this happens soon!
