I have installed blackbox from the Debian 2.2 CD set using dselect. It
launches as the default wm from .xsession, and it comes up operational,
except that the root menu will not appear when I right-click and there is no
toolbar. I do get the workspaces menu attached to the bottom of the screen.
I have copied the basic menu script to ~/.blackbox/Menu and I edited the
.blackboxrc menuFile setting to that absolute path. And still nothing. Any
troubleshooting suggestions?
Another question: since I have no root menu with a "restart" command
attached to it, is there a way to restart blackbox from the keyboard so that
I don't have to reboot the machine each time I make a change?
Debian 2.2 on Mac Quadra 630, 20 MB RAM, two-button Macally mouse.
thanks! scott
