It is good practice to read the documentation before asking questions.
Use xmodmap -pp to see your pointer settings, use
xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 2 3" or xmodmap -e "pointer = 1 3 2" as your case
warrants.

As for the file not being found, did you edit the .blackboxrc that
blackbox created or did you try to create your own or copy one from
another user?  If the answer is either of the last two, delete your
.blackboxrc, start blackbox, exit blackbox, and edit .blackboxrc.  Then
restart blackbox.  Also, make sure you do all this as the user who is
running blackbox, not root.
