Yes: inconsistent, but functional! It allows the use of [MiddleClick]
to directly reach another important menu. Inconsistency of this kind
is very okay for me.
What's wrong with iconsistency if it doesn't spoil usability, ease of
use and minimalism?
My opinion is, that the minimalistic concept makes Blackbox so
usable (and easy to use).
Learning and using Blackbox takes very few time... compared to
mutt/vim ;-)

If you don't want to notice the differences between windows and menus we
cannot help you. You want to see windows and doors everywhere :-)
But let me tell you as a human user, that i handle the Blackbox menus
and windows very differently.
