definately, it is useful information.

However, I am *NOT* a fan of software distribution via CVS.  It is my
preference for people to use the tarballs I release.  Anything else is suspect.
 It may be broken, I may completely change it tomorrow, etc.  This is a big
reason why I do not simply commit to cvs every night.
