sorry.....it was indeed a user error (though in a different way)
I had two instances of QS launching at startup......so trigger was
invoked twice......in case of other triggers i could not notice
it....because they were launching Safati, Mail, Smultron etc and i did
not bother to find why there were always two instances of them.
