Might I also add that if you want to use address-bar autocomplete, so
what you want really _is_ just a blank new window, you can use Cmd-
Tab, which brings up the system-provided application switcher, tab
over to Safari, release Cmd and then press Cmd-N.  I use that for all
my app-switching and the like because it's faster than dealing with QS
for such a specialized task.  Mostly I use QS for file operations—
open, move, rename, delete, open with etc.
