It should work regardless, but is iPhoto running?
It's hard to know when you say you're running "the latest
version" (and regardless, it doesn't help anyone in the future
searching through this thread). I recommend B54 (3815) and not one of
the later B56 betas.

When I type iPhoto into Quicksilver, the first two items that come up
are iPhoto and the second one is iPhoto Albums. They both have arrows
next to them but when you press the right arrow the window just shakes
as it does when there isn't a right arrow.
Dunno what to do about this now, I suppose I'll just have to wait
until the next update to iPhoto or Quicksilver and see if that changes
anything.

I actually didn't have any albums - I didn't quite realise the
distinction - but I've created one and rescanned etc but the problem
is still there. I have the same version of the plugin as you do. Just
my luck!

I have the same files and it seems to be working for me. I'm
using
the iPhoto Module plugin version B0 dated 09/01/06. I'm not sure
it's
needed but do you have any albums created in iPhoto? That's what
gets
indexed (though the rolls and a Photos album appears for me too).

No luck still. My library is in ~/Pictures which I'm guessing
must be
the standard location since I've never moved it before.
If I click Show Package Contents, inside the library there are two
files with the iPhoto icon called Library.iphoto and
Library6.iphoto,
which are 4KB and 5.5MB respectively. Is it normal to have this
Library6 file and could this result in Quicksilver being unable to
find my albums?

Check the grey box and rescan the catalog (select the line so it's

bottom of catalog panel).
I assume you're iPhoto library is in the standard place. I doubt
QS
can find it if it's not.
The Plug-ins item in the menubar is badly named. It's a place
where
plugins can install their own sub-menus. The only two things that
ever
appear here are the Clipboard and Shelf.

Further to this, in the Modules section of the Catalog menu, the
iPhoto albums bit appears to have no contents - there is no

in
a grey box next to it as with the other items in the Modules
menu...perhaps this is part of the problem. I still don't know
how
to
do it!

I have iPhoto '08 version 7.1.5 with the latest version of OS

Quicksilver. Latest version of everything I think. I've looked
through
the forum and it seems like I am not the first person to

it,
but there doesn't seem to be a solution to it. Also, the Plugin
sub-
menu in the menu bar drop-down menu doesn't work for me either.
Dictionary problem solved, thanks a lot.

I don't think so, but I may be wrong.

I've
reinstalled the plugin, and Quicksilver itself, and the
problem
occurs
whether or not advanced features are enabled.
I also have a problem with the Dictionary lookup feature - I
press
".", type in a word, select dictionary in the right hand pane,
and a
window comes up saying whatever word I just looked for
cannot be
found
(I've tried several common words). This window doesn't seem
to be
associated with any application at all - the Dictionary
doesn't
come
up in the dock.
Also, is it possible to have Quicksilver arrange icons by type
when
browsing? I'd like folders to appear first in the list when
I'm
browsing through my documents?
