Please accept my apologies. I did not read your post correctly and
posted a screenshot.
The screenshot showed
a text document, for example test.txt in first pane,
the action "open with" in second pane
and the application "Textedit" in third Pane.
By default text.txt was set to open with Smultron but i opened it with
"Textedit".
It all works fine. I had displayed the screenshot thinking that in
your case "open test with" was displayed instead of "open with". Now,
as much I understand frim reading your post is that the problem with
you is about hearing "open test with" instead of hearing "open with".
I dont know what software you are hearing with because the inbuilt
"Voice Over Utility" does not speak much or at least I can't get it to
speak.
