Maybe it's different in B56. In B54, this whole tab is grey for the  
Desktop source found in the User section of the Catalog. In this image  
it looks like the depth slider greys out after 2 or 3.

Contents - the list of all items found by indexing this source. You  
can remove a specific item
by unchecking it


What is this? The tick can be removed but the item won't go from the  
catalog (Quicksilver will still scan it). You know that. What is the  
use of removing the tick?

(Or does any of the two things i mentioned have something to do with  
B56a6?)
