That setting affects how long you have to wait before you can start searching “fresh”. Once the time has expired, the item in the first pane remains unchanged, but if you start typing, it’ll be as if you hit ⌫ first (as opposed to just adding characters onto your existing search). He’s saying that if you had something in the first pane, then go do something else, the last thing should still be there the next time you invoke Quicksilver. I can’t say whether or not this is happening for me, since whenever I invoke Quicksilver I immediately start typing with no regard for what was there previously. -- Rob McBroom <http://www.skurfer.com/>
