Ah, yes! Thanks for the clarification. Goes to show I should probably
RTFM.

So my first goal is to create keyboard shortcuts to drop down
particular menus in various apps, ala Windows Alt-letter.
I've created a hot-key trigger that does CurrentAppliction->Menu
Bar...->Window. When I do this manually through the QS pop-up window,
it works in whataver app is current. The trigger is set for a scope of
all applications. But when I use the trigger in any app other than QS,
it just brings the QS app to the front instead of dropping down the
Window menu in the current app. When QS is the current app, it does
drop down the Window menu.

Is this expected? Seems odd.

I tried a couple other CurrentApplication-specific triggers, like Show
Menu Items, and they've worked w/in the current application, i.e.
instead of switching to QS.
