I would actually like to see this as a feature also. I was surprised when I 
discovered that "Include in Global Catalog" is actually the same as 
enabling/disabling the source. I had assume it worked the same as pendolino 
expected.

I also have a need for it with B70 since adding all the url string to URLs 
has kind of "polluted" my global catalog and made it harder to find files, 
apps, and other things.

I created an issue and put more details 
at https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/issues/1066. The nice thing 
is it would give the user the choice for things like the iTunes example. I 
would definitely use it for things like bash history, which I would never 
want in my global catalog.
