Nope. And you probably don't actually want that. What if you just want to 
write an e-mail to someone, rather than sending them an e-mail with a file 
attachment? You'll need to bring up the contact in the first pane and 
select the Compose E-mail action in the second pane. To do it your way, you 
could never start the process because there would be no first pane object 
for the action to act on.
