Hi - I'm a recent convert to QS and have two questions that I haven't been able to find answers to in either this forum or in the manual. I'm sure it's something simple but for whatever reason I haven't been able to solve it.
1. I can't seem to make line breaks in text mode. I read on the QS page that control+O should produce a line break when in text mode, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Has the shortcut changed? Do I need to enable this in preferences? 2. The syntax (text) (Send to...) (contact) works for me when I want to send a quick email. but the reverse syntax (contact) (Email..Compose) (text) doesn't. When I pull up the Contact card/name in either the first or 3rd pane, it lists "None Email" for the email address, even though it is visible when I look at the card within Contacts. What's strange is that this "None Email" causes a problem if it is in the 1st pane (I get a "missing email" dialogue box upon execution) but not when it appears in the 3rd pane. For now I'm sticking with (text) (Send) (contact) syntax but I'd like to know why the alternative order isn't working. Any ideas?
