Very strange... I really don't think I'm using files with any strange
permissions, and certainly not ones that are locked.
My last attempt, the one prompted by Patrick's recommendation, were two text
files I had just created in BBEdit for the purposes of the test.

I tried it again, here are the steps:
- in Terminal, went to ~/Desktop/
- mkdir A
- mkdir B
- cd A
- vim test.txt
- In vim, wrote a line, saved and exited
- In Path Finder, copied the file from A to B
- QS: navigated to text file in first panel, tabbed to second, selected Move,
tabbed to third, navigated to B, hit return
- Prompted to Replace already existing file, clicked Replace
- Got the same error I got in the original email.

I even went to Get Info on the file in B and changed the permission to that
Everyone could Write to the file. Got the error again.
I've attached the test.txt file. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the help so far.
