I have been using the Social Bookmarks Plugin to access my del.icio.us bookmarks trough quicksilver.

The other day I reinstalled my Mac from scratch. After installing the Social Boomarkss plugin, I tried  tologin to my de.icio.us account in the catalog preferences. The option of adding the Social Bookmarks  to the catalogue is unavailable. Any ideas? Is the social bookmark plugin not working anymore? or am I missing something?

I wonder if you were on an older version of Quicksilver before. As of version 1.1.0, it will only load plug-ins built with 64-bit support. Given the release date of the last Social Bookmarks plug-in, it was probably 32-bit only.

If it still actually works with the service, we could recompile it with 64-bit support, but I can’t even locate the source any more.

As a possible work-around, keep in mind that Quicksilver can add URLs in a number of ways, including just a file with a list of URLs in it. If there’s some script out there that can dump your bookmarks to a file periodically, you could tell Quicksilver to index it.
