Yeah, I was using an older version. I found the source https://github.com/quicksilver/del.icio.us-qsplugin The repository is called del.icio.us, but I think the plugin name is Social Bookmarks, so it should work.
Do you have the software to recompile it to 64-bit? It would be awesome if we could get it to work again. If not I'll try your workaround.
