Something I forgot to mention, which might be of benefit to other people
trying to use the Social Bookmarks plugin.

When I installed the new version (2.1.0), it wouldn't recognize my
credentials in the plugin authentication pane. But the credentials worked
fine when I logged in directly to del.icio.us.
My password had 30+ characters including symbols such as: *#,*,&*
I had a hunch that that the length or the symbols might be there reason it
didn't authenticate, so I changed the password to around *15 characters*and
removed all symbols. After that the Social Bookmarks plugin
authenticated properly.

Not sure if this is related to quicksilver itself or the plugin, but if
you are having trouble authenticating try using a shorter password and
remove any symbols.
