Yes, my description of the process is inaccurate.  Sorry, I was in a rush. 
 Sherif's description is right on.  I am running QS v1.20 (400A) and I have 
the same behavior as Sherif.  My preference - and the way it used to work - 
is to have the current PathFinder pane refreshed with the folder I specify 
in QS Pane 1.  Now I can only open a new PF window with the folder.  I've 
played with the PF preferences on the Browser tab to no avail.
