Above 'Contacts plugin' is 'Contacts support', which was not ticked.

That’s unrelated and I’m not sure it ever worked. You can delete it.
Wait, what version of Quicksilver are you on? I don’t think Contacts
Support was ever rebuilt as 64-bit. (I didn’t know it was even
released publicly.) It shouldn’t even load unless you’re on a really
old version of QS.
The [latest release][1] of Quicksilver is 1.1.3 and the latest Contacts
plug-in is 2.2.0.
