Reviving this thread (sorry I gave up on it) as I'm to trying to get one of my work flows to work again.
First note that I've change my guard character in TextExpander. I no longer utilize a guard at all and have moved to an "ip address" style of dot notations, making it easier to remember the key. In Quicksilver, I tried the ' vs . to enter text input mode and neither seems to work. Text expansion into the first pane simply does not work. What is very interesting to me is that text expansion into the 3rd pane DOES work and it works every time.
