Agreed, though I understand there to be substantial issues with IMAP and 
gmail. This maybe just something gmail users have to chose to face when 
keeping gmail as their primary email.

Agreed! Especially on the last part. I know everyone's time is valuable, 
just noting the community (from what I've read, not just me), is interested 
in some better gmail integration. It seems to me the technology should be 
there, but maybe google is the reason for things to be difficult to merge 
at present.
