Well, it sounds like the system is doing its job.

I just tried wiping all prefs and data for Quicksilver and I was able to access recent documents by right-arrowing into several applications. All I can say at this point is to make absolutely sure you’re running the latest version of Quicksilver (which should be 1.5.7 right now).
