Okay, so I don't have to read the hint (as I'm not interested in it), how do these unprivileged users write to /bin,/usr/bin,/lib,/usr/lib and the other "standard" locations? I will admit I don't know anything about it, other than what I have envisioned in my head. Bad assumptions on my part, I will admit. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 23:08:01 up 141 days, 22:41, 3 users, load average: 1.42, 1.06, 0.56 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
