This ticket is to fix the Multimedia problems, summary of which as
follows:
DVD Playback: There have been several reports and conversations about
DVD's (both encrypted and non-encrypted) not playing correctly, if at all.
Someone reported in the lists that they could not get XINE to work either,
Bruce couldn't get Star Wars Episode IV running in VLC, and Ken has had
problems with DVDs for a long time. Test and fix each Video application.
Parole complains about the h.264 decoder.
CD/DVD Writing: Writing to a CD/DVD in Brasero(sysv?), Xfburn, K3b (?),
and SimpleBurn fails with multiple different kinds of errors, including
one regarding file permissions.
Audio CD Playback: (Discovered by me) Audio CDs will not play back
correctly.
